RFQ automation for distributors

RFQ in.
Draft quote out
in minutes.

Quote Desk reads RFQs from email, PDF and Excel, matches every line to your catalogue, finds equivalents for obsolete or out-of-stock parts, and drafts the quote. Your rep checks it and sends it.

20-minute call. We run your own RFQs through it live.

The problem

The fastest quote usually wins the order.

Inside sales teams spend hours a day retyping part numbers from emails, PDFs and spreadsheets into the ERP. RFQs that arrive late in the day wait until tomorrow, and some never get answered.

Messy formats
Every customer sends RFQs differently: free-text emails, PDF forms, BOMs with qty per board.
Part numbers
Typos, lower case, missing suffixes, dashes from an old BOM, end-of-life parts.
After acquisitions
Several branches, several catalogues, several inboxes. Nobody knows every cross-reference.

How RFQ to quote automation works

Your inbox and your catalogue. Nothing to migrate.

  1. The RFQ arrives

Quote Desk watches your shared RFQ inbox and reads the email body and any PDF or Excel attachment.

  2. Every line is matched

Exact part, part-number variant, spec match or cross-reference, each with a confidence score. Prices and stock come from your price list.

  3. A rep approves and sends

High-confidence lines are ready. Amber lines are flagged for a quick check. Each correction improves the next match.

Questions

What distributors ask first

What is RFQ automation?

RFQ automation means software reads a customer's request for quotation (an email, PDF or spreadsheet listing parts and quantities), finds each item in your catalogue and builds a draft quote, so a sales rep only checks and sends it instead of retyping every line.

Our ERP already has a quoting module.

It does once the lines are typed in. Quote Desk does the part before that: reading the RFQ and finding the right part. It hands your ERP a clean quote to import.

Our part data is a mess.

Most distributors' is. Matching messy part numbers is the core of the product, and every correction your reps make improves it.

Where does our data go?

Your catalogue and RFQs sit in an EU-hosted database, are used only for your quotes, and are deleted on request. We're happy to sign your NDA before you send anything.

Does it send quotes to customers on its own?

No. A rep approves every quote. Quote Desk drafts; your team decides.

Who is behind it?

BizBoost Limited, an Irish software company in Dublin. You deal directly with the person who builds and runs your setup.

Send us 3 real RFQs.

On a 20-minute call we show them back to you, matched and quoted. Remove customer names first if you like.
